This week these children reached for the stars to earn a place on the award table with Mrs Mercer.

The reasons their teachers are proud are:

• writing an amazing story of Eddie's Garden
• always being polite
• thinking of imaginative sentences containing words with suffixes
• listening well to instructions & trying hard to speak in full & clear sentences
• writing a really good setting description using interesting adjectives & verbs
• being an excellent school council member, designing a PTA disco poster
• fantastic effort in maths
• always doing the right thing & being an excellent role model
