Yesterday the children in Reception had special visitors come in to talk to them all about staying safe near and on the roads. The children shared all that they know about how to stay safe, such as holding hands with a grown up and looking both ways before crossing. They also got to practise how to safely and sensibly cross a zebra crossing and use and understand how a pelican crossing works. The visitors gave each child a special reflective sticker to keep them safe near the roads. Your child will come home with this sticker which should be put on a coat or bag your child uses regularly- Be Seen, Be safe!
