A fantastic afternoon of fun got off to a brilliant start with a whole school performance of Step it Up, the Sport relief song. There were cheers as each class set off with staff, parents, carers and grandparents on the half mile course up to the field, down the lane, round the playground and back into the reception yard. One lap wasn't enough for most, many children amazed their teachers and parents as they kept going, one lap after another. In the end we had to close the gate to stop them, who knows how much further they would have gone! We will update you with how much money we raised for Sport Relief. Well done to everyone who came and a big thank you to the volunteers who helped with marshalling, refreshments and preparations.
